The Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade) is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Customer Service Assistant. The successful candidate will respond to customer requests and inquiries relating to the Kenya National Electronic Single Window System at various border points while providing professional customer support through telephone, email, and site visits.

Position Details

Position: Customer Service Assistant.
Job Grade: KTNA 9.
Number of Posts: 1.
Employer: Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade).
Reports to: Manager Customer Service and Contact Centre.
Duty Station: Regional Offices.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and requests received through email, fax, SMS, voicemail, and other communication channels in accordance with the KenTrade Customer Service Charter.
Record customer complaints and compliments in the system and escalate them to the supervisor where necessary.
Prepare daily operational reports and submit them to the supervisor.
Provide advice and assistance to customers professionally while maintaining high standards of customer care.
Receive and process follow up information on previous customer requests and update systems accordingly.
Use approved software applications and electronic information systems in accordance with established procedures.
Identify inquiries requiring specialist support and direct customers to the appropriate officers.
Keep up to date with service developments and participate in training to improve service delivery.
Support other activities within the Customer Care Department as assigned.

Qualifications

Diploma in Business, Trade, ICT, or a related field.
Computer Proficiency Course.
Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
