The Strategic Communications Assistant, French will support the development, translation, and localization of French-language content across a variety of communication projects. This role is ideal for a highly skilled bilingual communicator with excellent command of French and English, strong writing and editing abilities, and experience producing culturally relevant content for diverse audiences across multilingual environments.
Translate, draft, and edit written content from English to French for reports, articles, press releases, campaign materials, and other communication products.
Ensure accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and consistency of tone across all French-language communications.
Develop original French-language content tailored to specific audiences and communication objectives.
Support the adaptation and quality control of bilingual publications, digital content, and communication materials.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of translated and original content.
Prepare translated summaries, captions, taglines, and other supporting communication materials as required.
Review and proofread French-language content to ensure linguistic accuracy and adherence to communication standards.
Support multilingual communication initiatives and contribute to effective audience engagement across French-speaking markets.
Native French speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
Strong proficiency in English as a working language.
Degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, French Studies, Arts in French, or a related field.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a communications, translation, content development, or related role.
Demonstrated experience translating and adapting content for professional audiences.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail skills.
Excellent bilingual communication skills in French and English.
Strong understanding of content localization and multilingual communication strategies.
Ability to maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and brand voice across languages.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently when required.
