Terms of Reference
Jiangsu University is a key comprehensive university with a history of more than 100 years, featuring agricultural machinery. It was jointly established by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The school is located in the Yangtze River Delta region, which has the most active economic development, the highest degree of openness, and the strongest innovation capabilities in China. The main campus is located in Zhenjiang City. The school is one of the first universities in China with the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees. It is also one of the first universities in the country to obtain quality certification for studying abroad in China, and has obtained A grade in the re-certification of the quality of studying abroad in China. The school actively integrates into the "Belt and Road" education action, and has trained thousands of talents of various types for more than 100 countries and regions. There are more than 2,300 degree-granting international students. The school covers 11 major disciplines, including engineering, agriculture, science, medicine, management, economics, philosophy, law, literature, education, and art. It has 34 teaching institutions, 97 undergraduate majors (18 of which are taught in English), 15 first-level doctoral programs, and 45 first-level master's programs. Non-Chinese citizens who are physically and mentally healthy, possess a strong academic background, willingly to comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people are eligible to apply.
