The University of Pretoria (UP), in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, seeks to support academically talented African youth who face economic and social challenges and are committed to driving positive change across the continent. The program specifically aims to assist those facing significant socio-economic obstacles, including refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and individuals with disabilities. Applications are now open for students who have applied to UP, provided they have been accepted into an undergraduate, honours, or master's degree program starting in 2025.
