The KCB Scholars Programme 2026 is now open for applications. For over 18 years, the programme has supported bright and underprivileged students across Kenya to access quality secondary education. This initiative by KCB Foundation aims to empower deserving learners from all 47 counties, including registered refugees, by providing them with an opportunity to transition to Senior School.

Eligibility Criteria

Must have sat for Grade 9 KJSEA in 2025 at a public junior school.
Must have achieved Meeting Expectations (ME1) and above in all learning areas.
Must meet the respective county merit score.
Must come from a financially needy background.
Open to applicants from all 47 counties and registered refugee students.

Application Requirements

Applicants must complete the 2026 application form clearly and attach the following required documents:

Copy of Birth Certificate
Parent/Guardian National ID
Parent Death Certificate (if applicable)
Parent/Guardian Payslip (if employed)
KJSEA Result Slip
Evidence of extracurricular activities (certificates, memberships, etc.)
Evidence of leadership
Senior School Calling Letter
Admission Letter to the assigned Senior School

Application Process

Download and fill out the official 2026 application form or obtain it from any KCB branch nationwide.
Submit the completed form in person at the designated interview venues (do not submit at KCB branches).
Attend the interview accompanied by a parent/guardian or authorized adult (mandatory).
Incomplete applications or missing documents will not be considered.

Important Notes

Only 2026 application forms will be accepted.
Providing complete and accurate information improves your chances of selection.
KCB Foundation will not take responsibility for applicants who attend interviews unaccompanied.
