The In-House Videographer will lead the creation of high-quality video content for Username Properties, supporting marketing and brand storytelling across digital platforms. This role covers end-to-end video production, from filming and editing to livestreaming and content optimization, with a strong focus on social media engagement and real estate storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on-site filming for property tours, site visits, client testimonials, office culture, corporate events, title deed handovers, and CSR activities.
Manage camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio recording to ensure professional-grade production.
Capture aerial drone photography and videography for land and property projects.
Edit raw footage into engaging videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and other editing software.
Apply advanced editing techniques including color grading, sound design, motion graphics, titles, and visual effects.
Create platform-optimized content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
Design compelling thumbnails for online video platforms.
Coordinate and execute livestreams for site launches and Open Day events across social media platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to develop content concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
Monitor digital media trends and contribute creative ideas that resonate with Kenyan investors and the diaspora.
Perform audio post-production including voiceover cleanup and music selection.
Organize and manage video assets, maintaining a structured footage library.
Maintain and prepare all video, audio, and drone equipment for deployment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Arts, Communication, or a related field.
Two to four years of experience in video production, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
Proficiency in DSLR and mirrorless cameras, mobile videography, gimbals, and professional lighting.
Expert-level skills in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
Strong storytelling, visual communication, and content creation skills.
Knowledge of video formats and best practices for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Understanding of the Kenyan real estate market and buyer motivations.
Experience with 3D animation or advanced motion graphics is an added advantage.
A portfolio demonstrating previous video work is required.
