The Laikipia County Public Service Board, established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act, 2012, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Community Oral Health Officer III. This is the entry and training grade for the cadre and is responsible for supporting oral health services through community education, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive oral healthcare activities.

Position Details

Position: Community Oral Health Officer III.
Job Group: CPSB 11.
Number of Vacancies: Two (2).
Salary: Ksh. 28,620 x 1,110 x 29,730 x 1,120 x 30,850 x 1,150 x 32,000 x 1,170 x 33,170 x 1,250 x 34,420 x 1,300 x 35,720 x 1,380 x 37,100 per month.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in oral health demonstrations, exhibitions, and lectures for communities and schools.
Collect data for fluoride testing in water samples.
Analyse fluoride test results and advise the relevant authorities accordingly.
Diagnose and treat common dental conditions.
Carry out temporary and permanent dental restorations.
Reduce simple fractures of the jaws.
Perform dental extractions.

Qualifications

Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution.
Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.
