The Kwale County Public Service Board is inviting applications from competent and qualified candidates for the position of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the Department of Health Services.

Position: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide pre-hospital emergency care to patients.
Assess patients' conditions and determine appropriate emergency interventions within the scope of practice.
Administer basic and advanced life support procedures as required.
Stabilize and prepare patients for referral to health facilities.
Ensure cleanliness of the ambulances.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the authorized officer.

Qualifications

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Paramedicine, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificates from a recognized institution.
Demonstrated professional competence and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
