The Digital Communications Intern will support CorpsAfrica’s Global Support Office (GSO) Communications Team by creating engaging digital content, designing graphics, editing videos, and managing multimedia assets for the organization’s social media and website. This role offers a unique opportunity to build creative skills while contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on promoting public service across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Design and produce digital and social media content aligned with CorpsAfrica’s brand standards.
Create original, on-brand graphics, videos, photos, and copy for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube).
Design promotional materials for print and digital use, including infographics, flyers, and templates.
Develop and maintain weekly content calendars in coordination with campaigns and events.
Organize, archive, and manage photo and video assets for internal and external use.
Research and propose creative ideas to boost online engagement.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics.
Support social media scheduling, caption writing, and audience engagement.
Assist with end-of-year fundraising and digital impact campaigns.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Canva (Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus).
Experience creating engaging social media or digital content.
Basic knowledge of video editing and social media analytics tools.
Strong visual and copywriting skills with attention to tone and brand consistency.
Demonstrated interest in African affairs, digital communications, design, media, marketing, branding, or international development.
Strong organizational, research, and professional communication skills.
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
