The ICT Graduate Trainee will report to the Head of ICT and Innovation and serve on a two year contract. The role is designed for a recent ICT graduate seeking structured training and hands on experience in supporting and maintaining the Sacco’s information technology systems, infrastructure, and security controls.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first line and second line ICT support to staff and system users under supervision.
Assist in monitoring networks, servers, databases, and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Support installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of ICT systems and end user devices.
Assist with workstation setup, system access provisioning, and basic network administration tasks.
Support ICT asset management, inventory updates, documentation, and routine system maintenance including backups and health checks.
Assist in enforcing ICT security policies, user account management, password controls, and access reviews under supervision.
Support monitoring of security events, antivirus updates, patch compliance, log reviews, and basic incident documentation.
Participate in ICT audits, regulatory inspections, ISO evidence preparation, improvement initiatives, automation tasks, and user training programs.
Comply with data protection, confidentiality, and acceptable use requirements at all times.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree completed or recently completed in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Fresh university graduate with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
