The 2025 Eric Bleumink Scholarship offers a fully funded opportunity for outstanding international students to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. The scholarship supports academically exceptional students who have secured (provisional or unconditional) admission and covers full tuition, travel costs, subsistence, books, and health insurance.

Eligibility Requirements
Must have received provisional or unconditional admission to a Master’s programme before February
Must demonstrate excellent academic performance (supported by recommendation letters)
Must have exceptional grades in undergraduate studies
Must meet English language proficiency requirements for the chosen programme
Must be available for the entire duration of the programme
Must be in good health (to qualify for health insurance)
Must hold nationality of a country listed in Appendix 1
Must lack other financial means to fund the programme

Step 1: Apply for a Master’s programme at the University of Groningen
- Ensure your application is submitted before December 01 to allow time for processing
Step 2: Wait for provisional or unconditional admission (must be received before February)
- The Admission Office and Faculty Boards will nominate eligible candidates for the Eric Bleumink Fund
