USIU-Africa is inviting applications for the 2026 Scholarship Programme. The scholarships are designed to provide access to world class education for academically talented students facing financial challenges while developing future leaders who will positively impact their communities. Eligible applicants can apply for one or more scholarship categories depending on their qualifications and eligibility.

Available Scholarships

Full USIU-Africa Scholarship (2 Slots: Male and Female) covering tuition, books, computer laboratory fees, accommodation, and meals. Minimum KCSE Grade: B+ with at least B in English and Mathematics.

Partial USIU-Africa Scholarship (2 Slots: Male and Female) covering 100% tuition costs only. Minimum KCSE Grade: B with at least B minus in English and Mathematics.

Diversity Scholarship (2 Slots: Male and Female) covering 100% tuition costs for students from marginalized communities, informal settlements, ASAL regions, and persons with disabilities. Minimum KCSE Grade: B with at least B minus in English and Mathematics.

Exness Fintech Scholarship (2 Master's Scholarships) covering 100% tuition costs for applicants pursuing the Master of Science in Information Security. Applicants must hold a first degree in an Information Technology related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Criminal Justice Scholarship (2 Slots: Male and Female) covering 50% of tuition costs for Kenyan civil servants pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies. A recommendation letter from an immediate supervisor or departmental head is required.

General Eligibility

Must be a Kenyan citizen.
First time undergraduate degree seeking applicants except where otherwise specified.
Must have completed KCSE or A Levels in 2025 except for the Criminal Justice Scholarship.
Demonstrate financial need, academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to community service.
Meet USIU-Africa admission requirements.
Be interested in pursuing an approved undergraduate degree at USIU-Africa except Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
Be available to commence studies in the Fall 2026 Semester.
Applicants must maintain good conduct, meet academic requirements, and comply with all USIU-Africa financial aid policies. Awards are subject to the availability of funds.

Application Process

Interested applicants should submit a completed scholarship application form, a typed application letter explaining why they should be considered, copies of academic certificates or results, and all relevant supporting documents before July 15, 2026.
