Primacy Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of Unison Sacco Society Limited regulated by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual for the position of Insurance Principal Agent Assistant. The successful candidate will support agency growth, operations, compliance, customer service, and business development in a modern and fast-paced work environment.

Position Details

Position: Insurance Principal Agent Assistant.
Employer: Primacy Insurance Agency (a Subsidiary of Unison Sacco Society Limited).
Employment Type: One (1) Year Renewable Contract.
Remuneration: Retainer plus Commission.
Location: Nanyuki, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

Drive business growth and development initiatives.
Coordinate branch channel enablement and cross-selling activities.
Support agency operations and administration.
Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
Manage relationships with underwriters and business partners.
Provide customer service and claims support.
Prepare agency performance reports and monitor business performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance.
Proficiency in computer operations and applications.
Diploma from the Association of Insurance Institute of Kenya (AIIK), progress toward ACII/CII, or membership in a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in insurance, agency, bancassurance, or underwriting, including at least two (2) years in business development or a supervisory role with a proven record of achieving production targets.
Experience in the SACCO or cooperative sector and in establishing or growing a new agency or business line will be an added advantage.
Valid Driving License (Class C).
