Afi Steaks and Platters is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Procurement Assistant. The successful candidate will support procurement operations by sourcing goods and services, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring efficient inventory and stock management.

Position: Procurement Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing, purchasing, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and maintain procurement documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issues.
Support receiving, inspection, and reconciliation of delivered goods against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
Assist in supplier performance evaluations and cost saving initiatives.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supplies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Membership with KISM or another relevant professional body is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, stores, inventory, or supply chain operations.
Good understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, supplier coordination, and stock reconciliation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems is an added advantage.
