Naturalmente Pane is a busy, quality-driven bakery and café in Watamu committed to producing high-quality bread, viennoiserie, and classic pastries. The bakery is seeking an experienced and skilled Pastry Chef to join its team and support daily production while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and participate in the daily production of viennoiserie including croissants, pain au chocolat and laminated doughs.
Oversee bread production including mixing, shaping, proofing and baking.
Prepare puff pastry, laminated doughs, choux pastry and a variety of fillings.
Ensure consistency in quality, taste and presentation of all products.
Work collaboratively with the team and provide leadership to junior staff when required.
Manage production efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a professional bakery, hotel or pastry kitchen.
Strong hands on experience in viennoiserie, laminated dough, bread production, choux pastry and puff pastry.
Experience in sourdough baking will be an added advantage.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
