    Terms of Reference

    The AfricaNenda Foundation is an African-led organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of inclusive instant payment systems (IIPS) to benefit all Africans, including the financially excluded. Believing that IIPS can drive universal financial access by 2030, AfricaNenda supports the development and enhancement of national and regional instant payment infrastructure through technical assistance, project design, and implementation. Additionally, the organization strengthens institutional capacity and collaborates with digital financial service providers to expand knowledge on inclusive payments. By working with policymakers and regulators, AfricaNenda promotes policies that foster an enabling environment for IIPS, facilitating financial inclusion and cross-border payments in alignment with the AfCFTA protocol on Digital Trade and the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy. Bringing together digital payment experts and regional leaders, the foundation partners with governments, private sector players, and institutions to advance its mission. AfricaNenda is currently seeking a Program Support Intern to assist its Advocacy and Capacity Development team.
