The Finance Graduate Trainee will report to the Senior Accountant and serve on a two year contract. The role is designed for a recent Finance graduate to gain practical experience in financial record keeping, transaction processing, reconciliations, and supporting the overall financial health of the SACCO.

Key Responsibilities

Process daily member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, reversals, and other related transactions accurately.
Support daily and monthly reconciliation of member personal accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare payment vouchers and assist in processing the SACCO’s bills and operational expenses.
Maintain well organized financial records and documentation for ease of reference and audit purposes.
Adhere strictly to SACCO financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance with Accounting option from a recognized institution.
CPAK qualification will be an added advantage.
Fresh university graduate with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills and keen attention to detail.
