The KEPRO Membership Intern will support the Membership team in engaging, assisting, and retaining members while contributing to the advancement of sustainable waste management and circular economy initiatives in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively communicate with members approaching their renewal dates and support smooth renewal processes.
Provide personalized assistance to members to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.
Assist members with monthly volume declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
Guide members through the declaration process and address questions or challenges that arise.
Offer on site support to members, including visits to member facilities when required.
Respond to member queries through help desk services and provide timely solutions.
Analyze membership data to generate insights that support decision making and tailored engagement strategies.
Track membership trends and key metrics to assess the effectiveness of engagement initiatives.
Develop strategies to enhance member participation in organizational activities.
Plan and coordinate events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Business Development, Marketing, Data Analysis, or a related field.
Strong interest in environmental sustainability and responsible waste management practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
Self motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Previous experience in membership management, customer service, or environmental advocacy is an added advantage.
