The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Bank’s CSR strategy in line with its values, ESG framework, and strategic priorities. The role focuses on delivering impactful community initiatives, strengthening stakeholder relationships, ensuring measurable outcomes, and enhancing brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of CSR strategies aligned to key focus areas such as sports, environment, child nutrition, and women empowerment.
Plan and manage CSR programs, partnerships, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
Ensure CSR activities align with brand positioning and corporate objectives.
Develop and manage annual CSR calendars and budgets.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with NGOs, community groups, and institutional partners.
Coordinate internal stakeholder engagement across departments and branches.
Represent the Bank in CSR events and community engagements.
Prepare and manage CSR budgets, track expenditure, and ensure accountability of funds.
Develop KPIs to measure CSR impact including beneficiaries reached, media coverage, and ESG metrics.
Prepare impact reports, case studies, and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to promote CSR initiatives across media platforms.
Develop content for social media, website, press releases, and annual reports.
Drive employee engagement through volunteer programs and internal CSR awareness initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in CSR, sustainability, marketing, or corporate affairs.
Experience working with NGOs or community organizations is an added advantage.
Knowledge of ESG and sustainability frameworks is desirable.
Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and budget management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and reporting skills.
High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
