The Driver Grade ACFC 11 position at Agro Chemical and Food Company Limited is responsible for safe and efficient transportation of passengers and goods, as well as ensuring proper maintenance and security of assigned vehicles. The role requires an experienced and disciplined driver who can uphold safety standards and maintain vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities
Drive company vehicles as authorized.
Conduct routine checks on vehicle systems including cooling, oil, electrical, brakes and tire pressure.
Detect and report vehicle malfunctions.
Maintain accurate work tickets for assigned vehicles.
Ensure safety and security of the vehicle both on and off the road.
Ensure safety of passengers and goods during transit.
Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum grade of D plain or equivalent qualification.
Valid driving license free from current endorsements and applicable to required vehicle classes.
At least six years of driving experience.
Passed Suitability Test for Drivers Grade I from the Ministry of Roads and Public Works.
Valid First Aid Certificate of at least one week training from a recognized institution.
Basic computer knowledge.
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police.
Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
