The Finance Trainee will join Nation Media Group’s dynamic Finance team, supporting core financial operations and gaining hands-on exposure in areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Taxation, and SAP system processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to build practical finance skills while contributing to the achievement of the Group’s financial and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the processing and reconciliation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
Assist in tax computations, filing, and compliance activities.
Participate in month-end closing processes and preparation of financial reports.
Contribute to the implementation and optimization of SAP processes within the Finance department.
Apply data analytics to enhance financial decision-making and reporting efficiency.
Maintain accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in all financial records and operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
CPA Finalist or ACCA Final Level qualification.
Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar applications.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems (an added advantage).
High integrity, professionalism, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced corporate environment.
