The Clinical Research Scientist position at KEMRI CGHR is a contract role with one vacancy at job grade KMR 05. The role involves conducting and supporting pre clinical and clinical research, providing medical care to study participants, and contributing to scientific studies and community health initiatives. The job was advertised on 11th March 2026 and closes on 31st March 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Implement pre clinical and clinical research projects and supervise assigned activities.
Provide diagnosis, treatment, and specialized clinical care to study participants.
Support fieldwork and experimental procedures in clinical and research settings.
Conduct experimental and developmental research work.
Contribute to data interpretation, validation, and reporting of results.
Participate in community diagnosis, care, and treatment during CSR activities.
Assist in organizing internal scientific seminars and meetings.
Mentor and guide visiting students and trainees.
Maintain clinical and pre clinical research facilities.
Coordinate meetings and collaborate with internal teams and international partners.
Develop standard operating procedures for data collection, processing, and study drug management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams.
Creativity, innovativeness, and critical thinking skills.
